Donation Terms and Conditions

Global Leadership for Peace & Reconciliation, Inc. (GLPR)

Effective Date: 22nd October 2026

1. Introduction

Welcome to Global Leadership for Peace & Reconciliation, Inc. (GLPR). These Donation Terms and Conditions govern donations made through our website or other approved donation channels. By making a donation, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.

GLPR is committed to promoting peace, justice, reconciliation, leadership development, and sustainable community transformation. Donations help support our programs and activities in furtherance of these objectives.

2. Voluntary Donations

All donations are voluntary contributions made to support GLPR’s mission and charitable activities. Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, donations do not purchase goods or services and do not entitle donors to ownership, membership, voting rights, or control over GLPR’s activities.

3. Use of Donations

Donations will be used to support GLPR’s programs, projects, operational costs, and other activities consistent with its mission.

Where a donor designates a contribution for a particular project or purpose, GLPR will make reasonable efforts to apply the funds accordingly. If the designated project becomes impractical, unavailable, fully funded, or otherwise cannot proceed, GLPR may contact the donor where reasonably possible to discuss an alternative use or handle the funds in accordance with applicable law and any agreed donation restrictions.

GLPR may allocate a reasonable portion of donations to administrative, transaction, fundraising, monitoring, and operational expenses necessary to deliver its programs effectively.

4. Donation Payments

Donations may be made through the payment methods displayed on our website. Donors are responsible for providing accurate payment details and ensuring that they are authorized to use the selected payment method.

Donations are subject to the terms and security procedures of the relevant payment service provider. GLPR does not store full payment card details unless expressly disclosed through an authorized and secure payment arrangement.

5. Donation Confirmation and Receipts

Where applicable, GLPR will provide an electronic confirmation or receipt after a successful donation.

Donors should retain their confirmation for their records. Anyone who does not receive a confirmation should contact GLPR using the contact details published on our website.

A donation receipt does not automatically establish eligibility for a tax deduction. Donors should consult the relevant tax authority or a qualified tax adviser regarding the treatment of their contribution.

6. Refunds and Cancellations

Donations are generally considered final and non-refundable because they are voluntary contributions supporting GLPR’s mission.

However, GLPR may review requests involving duplicate payments, processing errors, unauthorized transactions, or other exceptional circumstances. Refunds, where approved, will be handled in accordance with applicable law and the relevant payment provider’s procedures.

Donors should report suspected errors or unauthorized transactions promptly using GLPR’s published contact details.

7. Recurring Donations

If recurring donations are offered on the website, donors authorize the selected payment provider to process contributions according to the amount and frequency they select.

Donors may request cancellation of future recurring donations through the available payment controls or by contacting GLPR. Cancellation will apply to future payments once processed and may not reverse payments already completed.

8. Donor Information and Privacy

GLPR respects the privacy of its donors. Personal information collected during the donation process will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.

Donor information may be used to process contributions, issue receipts, communicate about donations, maintain financial records, comply with legal obligations, and provide updates where permitted.

GLPR will not sell donors’ personal information. Any disclosure to payment processors, service providers, or authorities will be limited to legitimate operational or legal requirements.

Donors who wish to remain anonymous should use any anonymity option provided or contact GLPR. Anonymous donations may be subject to legal, financial, or payment-processing requirements.

9. Donor Responsibilities

Donors confirm that:

  • They are legally entitled to make the donation.

  • The funds are obtained from lawful sources.

  • The payment information supplied is accurate and authorized.

  • Their contribution does not violate applicable laws, sanctions, anti-money laundering requirements, or other legal restrictions.

GLPR reserves the right to decline, suspend, or return a donation where reasonably necessary to comply with the law, address suspected fraud, or protect the organization’s integrity.

10. Transparency and Accountability

GLPR is committed to responsible stewardship of donated funds. We aim to manage contributions with integrity and use them in support of our stated mission.

Donations may be subject to financial reporting, auditing, regulatory requirements, and internal accountability procedures. Information about our programs and impact may be published through our website, reports, or other official communication channels.

11. Third-Party Payment Services

Our website may use third-party payment processors or financial institutions to facilitate donations. Their services may be subject to separate terms, privacy policies, fees, and processing requirements.

GLPR is not responsible for the independent operation of third-party platforms, but will make reasonable efforts to assist donors with donation-related queries.

12. Changes to These Terms

GLPR may update these Donation Terms and Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in its operations, payment methods, or legal obligations. The latest version will be published on our website with its effective date.

Changes will not override rights that donors have under applicable law.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, GLPR will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from interruptions, technical failures, or third-party payment service issues associated with the donation process.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law.

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These terms shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws applicable to GLPR’s legal registration and operations. Any disputes relating to donations will, where practicable, be addressed through good-faith discussions before formal legal proceedings are pursued.

The applicable jurisdiction should be confirmed and specified by GLPR before these terms are published.

15. Contact Information

For donation enquiries, payment concerns, receipt requests, or clarification of these terms, please contact GLPR through the official contact details published on our website.
